District 5 Traffic Incident Management Training Online Portal!

The Florida Department of Transportation and District 5's Traffic Incident Management Team is dedicated to the safety of the men and women who respond to traffic-related emergencies across our district every day. Those responders put their lives at risk 24/7/365 days a year. The TIM staff through the TIMTOP system is dedicated to developing educational material to support responder safety training, promote safe, quick clearance, interoperable communications, and support training on new technology within the district. By doing so, the goal is to keep responders up to date on national and state rules and regulations, provided training on new systems or techniques, and provide education related to safe roadway incident operations.

What is the cost of each course?

The training is provided free to our first responder community.

Will I receive a certificate when I finish a course?

Courses that offer a certificate will have a                beside the training button.


Certificates will be automatically generated and sent to the email used when registering for the class. 

Will you be able to keep track of the courses I take?

Our system maintains a log of all courses taken through our TIMTOP system.
